My work is a conversation between place, memory, and identity. Through visual art and writing, I explore the layered stories of the landscapes that shaped me—the native botanicals, quiet forests, and resilient prairies of the upper Midwest. I carry the lessons and presence of people already gone into my practice as I navigate concepts of family, both inherited and chosen.

As a trans nonbinary disabled artist, I create to resist erasure and to provide representation for others in my community. I believe art is inherently political; the act of creation itself is an act of resistance to apathy and despair. My work invites viewers to pause, to see beauty in what is often overlooked, and to recognize the power of resilience and hope embedded in the natural world and in ourselves.
